I fully agree that deep down within every person is the awareness of God. It can be covered up by calamity etc. but it is there. I find deep listening, first of all to the Holy Spirit and also to the person, can bring revelation to what may be covering up the truth of God. It is wonderful when the truth dawns and God sheds His light into those dark places and sometimes we are privileged to see this happen. Two people in my life today are both in the 'blind' place. I see God moving, as I am obedient to share what He gives me to share from His Word and also from personal experience.
